BackBeat is for singers 18 years and older

Rehearsals are Tuesdays 7-9PM at Hardin Simmons University campus in the choir room located on the 2nd floor of Caldwell Hall.

BackBeat is Chorus Abilene’s a cappella pop group! The ensemble, directed by Serayah Peters, covers popular music from a variety of genres and decades, characterized by tight harmonies and vocal percussion.

Tuition is charged by the season ($200) and payable per semester ($100) or per month ($25).  There is an annual registration fee of $30.  There is a 10% discount for multi-singer families, which is applicable to any of the ensembles within Chorus Abilene.
